Deliverance

Some things do not leave quietly.

You have prayed about it. You have cried about it. It came back anyway, wearing a different face, on a different Tuesday. This page is not here to comfort you out of it. It is here to help you name it, renounce it, and stand.

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8:36, KJV

The Naming Wall

Deliverance begins with honesty, not volume. Find the one that describes what has been following you. Open it. Read the scripture out loud. Pray the words as they are written. You do not have to feel anything for it to be true.

01Fear+
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.2 Timothy 1:7, KJV
Pray thisFather, in the name of Jesus Christ, I refuse the spirit of fear. It did not come from You, so it has no right to stay in me. I take back every place I gave it when I agreed with the worst outcome. Fill that place with power, with love, and with a sound mind. Amen.

Fear usually returns at the same hour. Note the hour. That is where the standing happens.

02The Pattern You Inherited+
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us.Galatians 3:13, KJV
Pray thisFather, in the name of Jesus Christ, I bring every pattern handed down to me into the light. What my family called normal, You call broken. I renounce agreement with it. I am not bound to repeat what I was raised inside of. By the blood of Jesus, the line stops with me. Amen.

You are not dishonoring anyone by refusing to carry what harmed them.

03Compulsion+
All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.1 Corinthians 6:12, KJV
Pray thisFather, in the name of Jesus Christ, I confess the thing I keep going back to. I am not defending it anymore. I renounce its power over my hands, my hours, and my money. Where I used it to quiet myself, teach me to come to You instead. Amen.

Deliverance and discipline are not enemies. Ask God for both, and get real help where real help is needed.

04Rage+
For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.James 1:20, KJV
Pray thisFather, in the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the anger that rules me instead of serving You. I release the people I have been rehearsing arguments against. Take the fire that burns my own house down and give me the kind that only burns what is not Yours. Amen.

Anger that protects is different from anger that presides. Ask God which one is living in you.

05Lust+
For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.1 Thessalonians 4:7, KJV
Pray thisFather, in the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce every agreement made with my eyes, my imagination, and my body that was not Yours. I sever every tie formed in secret. Cleanse what I cannot reach myself and set a guard over the door I keep leaving open. Amen.

Shame will tell you to skip this one. That is exactly why it is on the wall.

06The Spirit of Lack+
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.Philippians 4:19, KJV
Pray thisFather, in the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the belief that there will never be enough. I renounce every agreement that says I am the one who always goes without. You are my provider. Order my hands, order my house, and break the fear that has been managing my money for me. Amen.

This one hides as practicality. It is worth naming out loud.

07Torment at Night+
I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.Psalm 4:8, KJV
Pray thisFather, in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask You to cover this house and this bed. Every voice that is not Yours has no permission to speak here. Silence what torments and give me the sleep that belongs to Your beloved. Amen.

Pray it before you are afraid, not after. Set the covering while the lights are still on.

08Isolation+
God setteth the solitary in families.Psalm 68:6, KJV
Pray thisFather, in the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the lie that I am meant to fight alone. I renounce every agreement that says no one would stay if they knew. Send the people You have already assigned to me and give me the courage to let them near. Amen.

Isolation is a strategy, not a personality. It is worth resisting.

The Sequence

Naming it is step one. Most people stop there and wonder why the room fills back up. Here is the full order of operations.

Step One · Open here

Identify

Say the actual name of the thing to God without softening it. Vague prayer produces vague ground.

Step Two · Open here

Renounce

Out loud, break your agreement with it in the name of Jesus Christ. Agreement is what gave it a room.

Step Three · In the Binder

Close the Door

Find the point of entry and shut it. Renouncing without closing is why it keeps finding its way back in.

Step Four · In the Binder

Fill the House

An empty room does not stay empty. Scripture is explicit about what happens when it does.

Step Five · In the Binder

Cover the House

Your home, your children, your sleep, and your income all get prayed over by name.

Step Six · In the Binder

Stand

The counterattack is normal. Standing is the assignment, and there is a way to do it that does not exhaust you.

Step Seven · In the Binder

Testify

What God broke, you say out loud. This is the part most believers skip, and it is the part that seals it.
